Ewingston Shetland Wool
At the foot of the Lammermuir Hills in East Lothian, Scotland, you will find Kate Sharp and her flock of champion Shetland sheep, producing 100% natural Scottish Shetland wool.
They are not just ordinary sheep, they are part of the family, all lovingly reared and cared for from the moment they are born. At Ewingston, Kate doesn't work her sheep with dogs, she works with kindness, and they flock to her to say ‘hello’ when she walks around the fields.

The Ewingston Flock
They are all friendly, full of character (a little bit cheeky) and very, very woolly!
The Ewingston flock produces beautiful, natural, award-winning Shetland wool in various colours and shades. Each fleece is unique to the individual animal and has its own special feeling and softness. Which Kate then makes into beautiful, hand-knitted, ethical knitwear, wool and craft materials for the earnest knit-wearer and crafter.
Every wool-based product has been grown from the Ewingston flock, and lovingly (and tirelessly) produced by hand by Kate.
This is a woman who loves her sheep!
